eLearning participants get additional training course content in the video format, while both self-study and eLearning participants access the regular training course materials format, structured in training course days, with the additional files available in an editable format (depending on the training course, the case study, exercises, and exercises correction key files will also be available). 

 

Quizzes are part of the training course to increase interactivity between attendants and the training material.

General Information

Certification and examination fees are included in the price of the training course.

Participants receive training course materials containing over 200 pages of information, practical examples, exercises, and quizzes.

An attestation of course completion worth 14 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) credits will be issued to the participants who have attended the training course.

Candidates who have completed the training course but failed the exam are eligible to retake the exam once for free within 12 months from the initial date of the exam.

Important: All PECB certification activities must be completed within 12 months from your enrollment date with reconn. This includes completing your first exam attempt, a second attempt if required, submitting your certification application, and receiving your PECB certificate.

The exam fully meets the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certificate Programme. It covers the following competency domains:

Certification

First, a candidate needs to complete the PECB ISO/IEC 27001 Foundation training course. Then, they need to take the exam and after successfully passing the exam, candidates will be able to apply for the “PECB Certificate Holder in ISO/IEC 27001 Foundation” certificate. This is an entry-level credential.

There are no prerequisites on professional or management system project experience required. Thus, following the training course, passing the exam and applying for the certificate are the only certificate program requisites that certificate holders shall meet before obtaining the certificate.
