Your bundle includes two free 60-minute 1-on-1 mentoring sessions with Shenoy Sandeep, a PECB Certified Trainer with 20+ years in cybersecurity, focused on offensive security and threat intelligence. You get one session for the Lead Implementer course and one for the Lead Auditor course, and you can book each any time after enrollment.
You go deeper on tools, terminology and how the controls work in practice.
He keeps it in plain language and focuses on how an implementation project runs and how audits are conducted.
You also get email and WhatsApp support directly from your trainer until you have cleared your exams, within your 12-month enrollment window. No ticket queue.
What the sessions are not: they are not a source of exam questions and not a pass guarantee. PECB sets, administers and grades every exam.
The bundle contains the complete PECB ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer course and the complete PECB ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor course, which you open independently through the MyPECB portal. For each course you get the official courseware, 2 PECB exam attempts (your first attempt plus one free retake), 31 CPD credits, your PECB certification application fee, your first year of PECB's annual maintenance fee and one free 60-minute 1-on-1 mentoring session.
Yes. The bundle costs less than buying the two courses separately. See the price for your region in the buy box, and compare it with the Lead Implementer course and Lead Auditor course pages.
Your enrollment window: for each course, your exam attempts, certification application and PECB certificate must be completed within 12 months of your enrollment date with reconn.

It is if you want to both build and audit an information security management system (ISMS) against ISO/IEC 27001, and hold two PECB credentials that prove it. If you only need one side, see the single Lead Implementer course or Lead Auditor course.
Knowing how to build and manage an ISMS gives you a stronger foundation for auditing one.
The two courses are independent. Study them one after the other or side by side, at your own pace.
Impartiality still applies: holding both credentials does not change the rule that auditors should not audit a management system they implemented.

PECB certifications are valid for three years. After you pass an exam, you have up to one year to submit your professional file to PECB.
References: credentials that require experience need two professional references who can confirm it. Provisional credentials do not need references.
For the Lead Implementer course, PECB requires general knowledge of information security concepts. For the Lead Auditor course, PECB lists a fundamental understanding of ISO/IEC 27001 and knowledge of audit principles, and the course teaches audit technique rather than information security management itself. You do not need prior certification, or implementation or audit experience, to enroll or to sit the exams. Experience matters only for the higher credential levels. Use your free 1-on-1 sessions early if either side is new to you.
Master credential: holders of the Lead Implementer and Lead Auditor credentials can work toward PECB's Master credential, which also requires four Foundation exams and further experience. See PECB's Master credentials page for the current requirements.

Credit cards and international bank transfer. Qualified buyers in the Middle East can also pay in installments through Tabby or Tamara, which you arrange with us before you order (details in the next question). If you need a pro forma invoice before you pay, email hello@reconn.io.
Yes, for qualified buyers in the Middle East. reconn offers buy now, pay later through Tabby and Tamara, so you can split the bundle fee into installments instead of paying it all at once. It is not a checkout option: to use it, email hello@reconn.io or message us on WhatsApp before you order, and we will set it up with you.
Tabby and Tamara are independent providers, and they decide whether you are approved. They run their own eligibility check, and they set the number of installments, any fees and the repayment schedule, all of which they show you before you confirm. Country coverage is also set by each provider and can change, so we confirm availability when you contact us. Read the provider's terms before you accept, because late or missed payments are handled under their rules, not reconn's.
If Tabby or Tamara is not available for you, you can still pay by card or bank transfer.
Yes. You receive a tax invoice with your business details once payment is complete, suitable for corporate reimbursement or finance teams. If your finance team needs specific details on it, email hello@reconn.io before you place the order.

PECB's ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer and Lead Auditor certification schemes are accredited by UKAS (accreditation no. 21923). UKAS is the United Kingdom Accreditation Service. The accreditation applies to PECB's personnel certification schemes, not to your employer's ISMS. See PECB's accreditations page.
PECB is an international certification body for personal certifications and issues the credentials. Employers and consultancies use them as evidence of competence in implementing and auditing an ISMS. Recognition depends on the employer and the country, so check the requirements for the roles you want.
No. The PECB credential certifies you as a person. An organization's ISO/IEC 27001 certificate is issued by an accredited certification body after an audit of its ISMS. Your credentials help you build that system or audit it, but they do not certify your employer.
No. The credential shows your competence. ISO/IEC 27001 supports good practice, but meeting a regulation depends on that regulation's own requirements and on your organization's circumstances.

Yes. The bundle costs less than buying the two courses separately. The buy box shows the price for your region, and you can compare it with the Lead Implementer course and Lead Auditor course pages.
Most candidates start with the Lead Implementer and then move to the Lead Auditor, because knowing how to build and manage an ISMS makes it easier to audit one. The courses are independent, so either order works.
Yes. You open each course independently through MyPECB. Study them side by side or finish one before you start the other.
Buy the bundle if you want both credentials, for example to work in consulting, advisory or internal audit roles. Choose the Lead Implementer course if you build or run an ISMS, or the Lead Auditor course if you audit one.
Lead Implementer is for people who design, build and manage an ISMS. Lead Auditor is for people who plan, conduct and close audits of an ISMS and manage an audit program. Both carry equal professional weight.
Self-Study gives you PECB's official courseware for both courses. eLearning adds pre-recorded video content for both. Both are 100% online and self-paced, lead to the same exams and certification, and each course is accessed independently through MyPECB.
Holding both credentials does not change the impartiality rule: auditors should not audit a management system they implemented. The two credentials let you work on either side of the standard, not both sides of the same system.
Each course has its own 12-month window from your enrollment date with reconn. Within it you must use your exam attempts, submit your certification application and receive your PECB certificate.
You get two free 60-minute sessions, one per course, and you can book each any time after enrollment. The Lead Implementer session covers study planning, clause clarification, planning an implementation and the path to Lead Implementer. The Lead Auditor session covers study planning, clause clarification, audit technique and the path to Lead Auditor. See what each session covers.
You do not need prior certification, or implementation or audit experience, to enroll or to sit the exams. For the Lead Implementer course PECB requires general knowledge of information security concepts. For the Lead Auditor course PECB lists a fundamental understanding of ISO/IEC 27001 and knowledge of audit principles. Experience matters only for the higher credential levels.
Yes. reconn offers ISO 27001 implementation services. See ISO 27001 implementation services. The training bundle itself is for your personal certification.
Each exam is multiple choice, with 80 questions, three answer options per question and one correct answer. The pass mark is 70%.
Yes. For the Lead Implementer exam you may use a hard copy of ISO/IEC 27001, the course materials and your own notes. For the Lead Auditor exam, PECB's candidate handbook lists the reference materials you may use.
Seven competency domains: fundamental principles and concepts (15 questions), ISMS requirements (12), planning an ISMS implementation (18), implementing an ISMS (14), monitoring and measurement of an ISMS (10), continual improvement (6) and preparation for a certification audit (5).
Seven competency domains: fundamental principles and concepts of an ISMS, the ISMS itself, fundamental audit concepts and principles, preparing an ISO/IEC 27001 audit, conducting the audit, closing the audit and managing an audit program.
Planning an ISMS implementation is the largest, at 18 of 80 questions (22.5%), followed by fundamental principles and concepts (18.75%) and implementing an ISMS (17.5%). Planning and implementation together make up 40% of the exam.
Online, through the PECB Exams app, with remote supervision by PECB. PECB administers the exams, not reconn. You schedule each one for a date and time that suit you once you have studied.
PECB sets the duration and shows it when you schedule each exam. If you take an exam in a language that is not your native language, you get 30 extra minutes.
Exam languages are set by PECB and can vary by exam. Check PECB's List of PECB Exams and its Examination Rules and Policies before you choose your course language.
Four in total, two per course: your first attempt plus one free retake of each exam, used within 12 months of your enrollment date. Any attempt beyond those is charged by PECB at its current fee.
Each course includes one free retake. Use your 1-on-1 session and WhatsApp support to plan your revision, then schedule the retake on the PECB Exams app within your 12-month window. PECB also emails candidates who do not pass the domains where more study may help.
No. PECB sets, administers and grades every exam, and its policies do not allow partners to share exam questions. reconn provides the official courseware, two free 60-minute 1-on-1 mentoring sessions and email and WhatsApp support until exam clearance.
You apply to PECB for the credential that matches your professional experience. If you have no experience yet, you can apply for the Provisional level of that credential, which needs the exam only. Your package covers PECB's certification application fee. You have up to one year after passing to submit your professional file.
Each scheme has four levels: Provisional, the practitioner level (Implementer or Auditor), Lead and Senior Lead. The experience requirements rise with each level, as shown in the credential tables on this page.
Credentials that require experience need two professional references who can confirm it. Provisional credentials do not need references.
PECB certifications are valid for three years. To maintain them you complete continuing professional development (CPD) hours and pay PECB's annual maintenance fee. Your first year of that fee is included for both credentials. See PECB's FAQ for current fees.
31 per course, so 62 across the bundle, shown on the attestation of course completion.
Holders of both the Lead Implementer and Lead Auditor credentials can work toward PECB's Master credential, which also requires four Foundation exams and further experience. See PECB's Master credentials page for the current requirements.
