The course is structured as four training days plus an exam day. You study at your own pace, and most candidates finish the material in two to four weeks. All certification activities must be completed within 12 months of enrollment.

PECB offers the PECB Certified ISO 9001:2026 Transition course for professionals already certified on ISO 9001:2015. Choose the Lead Auditor course if you are earning the Lead Auditor credential for the first time.
Take Lead Auditor if you want to audit a QMS, either for a certification body or inside an organization. Take Lead Implementer if you want to build and run a QMS. Many professionals take both, and the Lead Auditor and Lead Implementer bundle covers both courses.
PECB certifications are valid for three years, subject to meeting PECB maintenance requirements, including the annual maintenance fee. The first year is included in your package.
