1. Live Online Courses

What is a Live Online Virtual Classroom and how does it work?

reconn’s Live Online Classes are mission-ready virtual experiences led by certified trainers in real time. Think of it as joining a live transmission from Mission Control — interactive, immersive, and globally accessible. All you need is a stable internet connection, and you’re cleared for launch.

Who are the trainers, and what are their qualifications?

At reconn, our lead trainer is none other than our founder Shenoy Sandeep — a cybersecurity and AI strategist with two decades of real-world, frontline experience across red teaming, threat intelligence, AI governance, and enterprise GRC.

He’s not your average "PowerPoint professional."

Shenoy has:

Trained professionals across government, defense, and Fortune 500 teams

Led field missions across the Middle East and Africa

Delivered over 500 successful projects spanning offensive security and compliance

Supported 25+ cybersecurity and AI startups with go-to-market execution

He holds advanced certifications from PECB and several global bodies.

Each session with Shenoy is packed with actionable insights, war stories from the field, and a zero-fluff teaching style.

Expect less theory, more "how things actually work" — because you're learning from someone who’s been on both sides of the firewall.

Do I need to attend all live sessions to be eligible for certification?

Yes, full attendance is part of your mission protocol.

Our certification bodies require live participation to ensure you receive all critical knowledge and complete the learning journey without any signal loss.

What if I miss a class — will recordings be available?

We understand that even astronauts get pulled into gravity. While we recommend attending live for full immersion, we do provide session recordings for review, subject to the certification body’s policy. You’ll never miss a transmission.

Is there a fixed schedule or can I choose my time zone?

Most live classes are scheduled in a way that suits professionals across time zones.

Check the course page for the next launch window — and if you're in another orbit, just ask! Custom cohorts may be available.

How do I access my virtual classroom and study materials?

Once you enroll, you’ll receive access credentials to our virtual training deck via PECB KATE or other official portals. Study materials, session links, and pre-flight instructions are all delivered to your inbox — no guesswork, no turbulence.

What technical setup do I need (laptop, software, internet)?

ust a browser, a stable internet connection (at least 10 Mbps), and a functioning mic and webcam. No special gear required — you’re already cleared for digital lift-off.

Will I receive a certificate after completion?

Absolutely. Complete your live sessions, pass the final exam, and you’ll receive your globally recognized certificate — backed by PECB or the issuing authority. This isn't just paper — it's proof you’re mission-qualified.

Are exams included in the live class fee?

Yes. Our Live Online Class fees include your exam voucher, study kit, and access to the certification platform — everything needed for takeoff, minus the space suit.

Can I interact with the trainer and ask questions during class?

That’s the whole point! Live sessions are designed for real-time Q&A, discussions, and clarifications — so don’t just orbit silently. Speak up, engage, and get expert insights right from the command deck.

Is there a support team I can reach out to before or during the course?

Yes, reconn's support crew is always on standby. Whether you need tech assistance, scheduling info, or just want to confirm your mission path, we're one message away — via email, WhatsApp, or encrypted pigeon if needed.

Can I upgrade to self-study or in-person later?

Yes! If your trajectory changes mid-flight, you can switch to a self-paced module or even an in-person class (when available). Just contact Mission Control (that’s us), and we’ll chart a new course for you.

Please note: Additional fees may apply depending on the format and certification body policies.

Do you offer group discounts or team training packages?

Yes, commander. For teams of 3 or more, we offer discounted pricing, private batches, and tailored learning paths. Perfect for companies, security squads, and government task forces.

What if I want to reschedule or defer my class to a later date?

Life happens. If you need to delay your launch, just alert Mission Control in advance and we’ll shift you to the next available cohort — no penalties, just proper mission rescheduling.

However, don’t drift too far off course — exam vouchers expire within 12 months from the date of enrollment. Seasonal delays or procrastination could cost you both time and certification. Stay on schedule, and keep your orbit tight.

2. eLearning Courses

What is the Self-Study format and how does it work?

Self-Study format is built for professionals who prefer navigating the galaxy solo. You’ll receive official PECB course materials in text/PDF format through the KATE platform — your personal command deck.

There are no live classes, no video lessons, and no instructor guidance. You study at your pace, complete the exam when ready, and manage your own learning orbit.

Note: Your exam voucher expires in 12 months. So, don’t delay — or you might miss your re-entry window.

What is the eLearning format and how is it different?

eLearning is your personal flight simulator. It includes pre-recorded video lessons, animations, and voice-guided instruction delivered via the PECB KATE platform. Ideal for visual learners who want a guided experience without attending live classes.

You can learn at your own pace, on your own schedule — and revisit any module until you're mission-ready.

Just like self-study, your exam voucher expires in 12 months. So stay on course and plan your learning trajectory accordingly.

How long does it take to complete the course?

he pace depends on the format:

Live Online: Fixed schedule (usually 2–5 days)

eLearning: Finish at your own pace; average 1–2 weeks

Self-Study: Fully self-directed; can be done in 1–4 weeks depending on your time commitment

How do I take the exam? Is it online?

Yes, all PECB exams are online and proctored remotely. You can schedule your exam via the Exams platform and take it from the comfort of your home — no travel, no test center.

What’s included in the course fee?

Each package includes:

Access to the PECB KATE platform

Official course materials (PDFs or eLearning videos)

Official Pre-recorded elearning videos ( for elearning package only)

One exam voucher valid for 12 months

Certification fee upon passing

Email and chat support from Reconn’s crew

Can I retake the exam if I fail?

Yes. One free retake is included. If needed, additional attempts may involve a nominal fee per PECB policy.

When can I start the course?

Immediately! As soon as your order is reviewed and processed by Mission Control, your access to PECB KATE will be activated — typically within 24 hours.

Are exams included in the live class fee?

Yes. Our Live Online Class fees include your exam voucher, study kit, and access to the certification platform — everything needed for takeoff, minus the space suit.

3. Payment & Refunds

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards via our secure payment gateway. Your transaction is encrypted — no black holes, no data leaks.

Local UAE and international cards are both supported. If you're a B2B customer, reach out for invoice-based billing.

Do you support multi-currency checkout?

Yes, our system is orbit-aware. You can pay in AED, USD, EUR, INR, or other supported currencies — depending on your region.
Prices are inclusive of all applicable taxes. No surprise meteor showers.

Can I request an invoice for my company?

Absolutely. If you're representing an organization or need a VAT invoice for compliance, our finance crew will beam it over to you. Just contact us after your order is placed with the billing details.

Do you offer refunds?

No.

Due to the nature of digital products and course license activations, all sales are final. Once your mission access is granted (via PECB or internal portals), refunds are not possible — as per our zero-re entry policy. Please read course details carefully before takeoff.

Can I transfer my course to someone else?

No. Course licenses and exam vouchers are non-transferable and issued to the learner’s name and email ID. Once assigned, they’re locked to your unique flight path.

4. Digital Delivery & Timelines

How long does it take to get access after I place an order?

Once your order is confirmed, our crew initiates your onboarding process.

Typical activation time: Within 12–24 hours

You’ll receive your access credentials for the PECB KATE platform or course portal directly via email. If it's the weekend or a public holiday in our orbit, it may take slightly longer — but rest assured, we never miss a launch window.

How will I receive my course materials?

Yes. As soon as your mission access is granted, you’ll receive a confirmation email with login details and guidance on next steps. Keep an eye on your inbox (and check your spam folder, just in case it crash-landed there).

What should I do if I don’t receive access within 24 hours?

If your activation hasn’t landed in your inbox within the promised timeframe, reach out to support@reconn.io or WhatsApp us directly. We'll investigate the space glitch and fast-track your access manually.
