Nine PECB AI certifications, taught online by reconn: ISO/IEC 42001 Foundation, Lead Implementer and Lead Auditor for AI management systems, the EU AI Governance Professional, and CAIP, CAIM, Lead AI Risk Manager and CAISP for AI practice, management, risk and security. Every self-study and eLearning enrolment includes a free 1-on-1 session with a PECB Certified Trainer.
Open any course to see the exam format, prerequisites, what you receive and the delivery options. ISO/IEC 42001 programs are delivered as eLearning, the others as self-study, and live online or corporate classroom sessions can be arranged on request. Every self-study and eLearning enrolment includes a free 1-on-1 session with a PECB Certified Trainer and unlimited email and WhatsApp support until you pass.
The nine programs fall into three tracks. Pick the track that matches the work you do, then the credential that matches your role in it. ISO/IEC 42001 programs are delivered as eLearning. The others are self-study. Live online sessions and corporate classroom batches are available on request.
For auditors, consultants, compliance leads and implementation teams working with AI management systems and EU AI requirements.
Worth knowing: ISO/IEC 42001 is a management system standard. It is not a harmonised standard under the EU AI Act, and certification does not by itself make an organisation compliant with the Act.
For engineers, security teams and practitioners who build, apply and defend AI systems.
For managers, risk owners and program leads who direct AI initiatives and own their risk.
Every self-study and eLearning enrolment includes a free 1-on-1 session with a PECB Certified Trainer and unlimited email and WhatsApp support. For a custom batch, write to hello@reconn.io.
Which PECB AI certification should you choose? Choose an ISO/IEC 42001 Lead credential to audit or implement an AI management system, the EU AI Governance Professional to lead EU AI Act compliance work, CAIP or CAISP to apply or secure AI, and CAIM or Lead AI Risk Manager to manage AI programs and their risk. ISO 42001 programs are delivered as eLearning, the others as self-study.

The three frameworks do different jobs. ISO/IEC 42001 is a certifiable management system standard, the EU AI Act is binding law with legal duties, and the NIST AI RMF is voluntary guidance for managing AI risk. Most AI governance careers touch at least two of them, which is why PECB's AI certifications are built around different parts of the picture.
Published by ISO in December 2023, it sets requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an AI management system. It applies to organisations of any size that develop, provide or use AI-based products or services. Start with: Foundation, Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor.
The European Union's law on AI, with obligations phased in from 2025 to 2028 depending on the type of system. It reaches providers and deployers whose AI is placed on, or used in, the EU market. Start with: EU AI Governance Professional.
Released by the US National Institute of Standards and Technology in January 2023, and intended for voluntary use. It organises AI risk work into four functions: Govern, Map, Measure and Manage. Start with: Lead AI Risk Manager.
Worth knowing: ISO/IEC 42001 is not a harmonised standard under the EU AI Act, and certification does not by itself make an organisation compliant with the Act. It is a way to build the governance that supports compliance work.

PECB issues the certificate, whichever authorized partner you buy the course from. What changes is the support around it. With reconn, you learn with a PECB Certified Trainer, and you can reach him until you have cleared the exam.

Not a slide reader. A practitioner.
The course content is PECB's official courseware, so the curriculum and exam are identical whoever you buy from. Shenoy's part is the support around it:
Adapted to your background. From tech, you go deeper on tools, terminology and how AI systems work. From governance, risk or compliance, he keeps it in plain language and focuses on how to run the implementation project.
From your trainer until you clear your exam, within your 12-month enrollment window.
Drawn from hands-on AI governance, security and ISO implementation work, so the standard makes sense outside the slides.
Start with the credential that matches your role. Auditors and consultants usually begin with the ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Auditor, and implementation teams with the Lead Implementer. If you are new to the standard, the ISO/IEC 42001 Foundation is the entry point. Security teams usually begin with CAISP, AI managers with CAIM, and risk owners with the Lead AI Risk Manager.
The Lead Implementer prepares you to establish and run an AI management system. The Lead Auditor prepares you to audit one against ISO/IEC 42001. Both are UKAS-accredited PECB schemes. The bundle covers both in one enrolment and includes a free 1-on-1 session for each course.
No. ISO/IEC 42001 is not a harmonised standard under the EU AI Act, and certification does not by itself make an organisation compliant. It helps build the governance that supports compliance work. For the Act's own requirements, the EU AI Governance Professional is the closer fit.
ISO/IEC 42001 programs are delivered as eLearning. CAIP, CAIM, Lead AI Risk Manager, CAISP and the EU AI Governance Professional are self-study. Live online sessions and corporate classroom batches are available on request for every program except the EU AI Governance Professional, which is self-study only.
Every self-study and eLearning enrolment includes official PECB courseware, two exam attempts, a free 60-minute 1-on-1 session with a PECB Certified Trainer, and unlimited email and WhatsApp support until you clear the exam. The session and the support run for 12 months from your enrolment date. In a bundle, each course has its own window.
PECB administers every exam on the PECB Exams app, with remote proctoring. reconn does not run the exam. You study through the myPECB portal, sit the exam when you are ready, and use one of your two attempts.
Not automatically. PECB certification has two steps: you pass the exam, then you apply to PECB, which checks your professional experience against the criteria for that credential. Your exam attempts and your certification application need to fall within the 12 months after you enrol with reconn.
Yes. reconn sells PECB AI programs internationally, and the online programs work the same way wherever you are. Prices differ by region and are shown on each course page.
