What is risk management?
Risk management is the coordinated set of activities an organization uses to direct and control itself with regard to risk. It covers identifying, analyzing and evaluating risk, treating it, and monitoring and communicating throughout.
What is ISO 31000?
ISO 31000 is the international guideline on risk management. It describes eight principles, a framework and a process that any organization can use, whatever its size, sector or activity. It gives guidance, so organizations cannot be certified against it.
Can an organization be certified to ISO 31000?

ISO 31000 Lead Risk Manager suits people who build and run enterprise risk management. ISO 31050 Emerging Risks Manager focuses on emerging risks, and ISO 27005 Risk Manager on information security risk. PECB sets and proctors every exam.
